Why USC?
The United Solutions CUSO is owned and operated by the credit unions we service. We have been in business since 1983, providing financial technology solutions to the credit union industry. We currently service 98 credit unions under contract in 31 states. At our core, we are an IT CUSO specializing in core data processing.
USC has two fully replicated data centers located in Tallahassee, Florida, and Louisville, Kentucky. Today, United Solutions hosts multiple core data processing systems; Fiserv DataSafe and Fiserv XP2. Both products are tier one systems that offer many benefits and features designed to reduce keystrokes and improve operational efficiencies. The DataSafe System has recently been updated with a new front end that is attractive and intuitive. System functionality on the DataSafe System runs deep, and the system is easy to use. The XP2 System is our flagship product with a DB2 SQL Database, .Net Programming, and the most open platform in the Fiserv Credit Union Core System Lineup. United Solutions can write our own system interfaces, provide our own business recovery, and enjoy providing excellent service to our clients.
United Solutions provides additional value with our network services, imaging systems, and ancillary products and services. We wrote our own business intelligence software that our credit unions can use free of charge to help them remain competitive. USC provides quarterly marketing campaigns for our credit unions free of charge. Our goal is to help our credit unions grow and remain competitive.
United Solutions created our own suite of products on a platform based on Apple Computer’s FileMaker Software that we call OnCore. OnCore Forms provides member forms, loan forms, laser checks, laser starter checks, and laser notices. This system allows members to sign documents using “glass signatures” with Topaz, Wacom, Parblo, and iPad Devices. Members can sign electronically using DocuSign or Foxit’s eSign Genie. The product has workflow built in, and the documents are easily indexed and moved directly to optical. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to text or email member receipts?
Other OnCore Products include a Member Relationship Management System (CRM), an onboarding and marketing product, lobby tracking software, Digital Receipts, and OnCore Balancing. The OnCore Suite helps in the sales cycle and provides valuable services not typically provided by the core system.
United Solutions created ancillary products and services at the request of our credit unions. These products include a board portal for credit union board members, a vendor management system, a product to put custom pictures on credit cards, a Skip-A-Pay Product, OnCore AI, and a learning management system (LMS). All our products and services are right priced for the credit union market.
United Solutions does not charge for business recovery services. We consider this a cost of doing business and absorb these expenses for our credit unions. Not having to pay for business recovery is a huge cost savings.
United Solutions can provide and support our credit union’s Microsoft Products through Office 365. We support Email Exchange, Microsoft Office, and other products that will help with operational efficiencies. In many cases, our credit unions lease virtual server space from USC, and place servers such as loan origination products, mortgage servicing products, collections products, and more in our data centers.
United Solutions can provide core data processing, co-locations, network services, collections, imaging, and much more. We are truly a one stop shop for our credit unions!
